The meetings are held at the Tuscarawas-Carroll-Harrison
Educational Service Center located at 834 East High Avenue in New

Upcoming meeting dates: July 11th
June meeting - Saturday, June 13th from 2:00 - 4:00PM.
Marilyn will be presenting a hands-on look at Apple's iWeb. Attendees
will be able to design a website using iWeb. It will be hands on - take
the
fear out of creating a web site. I'll have all the pieces and parts available
to them and we'll create a photo gallery, design a home page, learn about
the links etc. We will also be discsussing social media and networking
sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the like.
We will also be covering the latest
industry news, a report from the blogs & rumor sites, a Q & A
session and of course looking at our top web site resources. See

May meeting - Meeting Notes
We reviewed some great software from 1Password.
1Password takes care of all your online passwords so you can use strong and unique
passwords for every site and never forget any of them! We also looked at ArtRage,
it’s an easy to
use, stylish painting software for Mac OS X! Other software tidbits we looked
at were Cosmic Painter and Image
Well. We had some awesome web sites to review as well and here they are,
Switchers Blog, Mental
Floss, Indexed and Screencast
Online.

March meeting - Meeting Notes
We will be reviewing and getting a hands-on look the the newest version of Keynote
that is part of iWork '09. We will also be taking a test drive of the latest
hard drive support tool, Drive
Genius 2
February Meeting - Meeting Notes
We continued with a second meeting on a more in-depth look at Google
applications like gMail, Calendar, Documents, Reader and Picasa Web
Albums. We also spent some time on some cool new web sites, Hulu.com,
Yelp.com and Mint.com

applications that are out there and
there are a lot of them to choose from.
December Meeting -
Our first annual Christmas party. Good food...good time.
November meeting - Meeting Notes
For our November meeting we are going to be taking a hands-on look at iPhoto
'08. We will look at organizing your photos in events, how to enhance your photos
and then turn those awesome digital photos that you took into a Christmas card
or calendar project. You can also start a small book project - just in time for
those Christmas gifts. Please bring your digital photos on a CD, flash drive
or bring your digital camera (with the USB cable please) and we will learn how
to import your own photos into iPhoto. If you don't have photos we will provide
some for you. We will be meeting in the computer lab at the TCHESC where everyone
can work on a computer that has iLife 08.
October 18th - Meeting Notes
Mark will be presenting how to take your old vinyl records and cassettes and
make them digital recordings. We will be continuing the video tutorial series
on Mastering Mac OS X made possible by MacPro Video.
September 20th - Meeting Notes
We will be continuing the video tutorial series on Mastering Mac OS X
made possible by MacPro Video. Scott presented the new iPhone 3G.
July 26th - Meeting Notes
We will be continuing the video tutorial series on Mastering Mac OS X
made possible by MacPro Video. We will also be digging into finding,

June 21st - Meeting Notes
We will be starting a video tutorial series on Mastering Mac OS X made
possible by MacPro Video. We will also be looking at an Apple Training
Series lesson for iWork '08.
May 17th - Meeting Notes

will be reviewing and working with chat applications for the Mac, such
as, iChat, Adium and more.
April 19th - Meeting Notes
We will be celebrating our 6th anniversary. We will be digging into a
wealth of Internet browsers for Mac OS X. Ten browsers to be exact.
March 15th - Meeting Notes
This meeting we had
two presentations, one presented by Mark on scanning basics and one presented
by Marilyn on the new and easy to use personal database software, Bento.

Hippo, Buzzillions and Etsy.
February 16th - Meeting Notes
Our main topic will be
a review of the Macworld convention and an in-depth look at the Macbook
Air and Time Capsule. Our web site resources were Pages, 10
Cool Mac Tricks,
HassleMe and Jig
Zone.
January 19th - Meeting Notes
Our main topic was a hands-on lab
with Blurb Booksmart. We also looked
at Sharpshooter, iConiCal and Dashboard
Widgets. Our web site resources were Think
Geek, Veer Catalogs and
TinyURL.
November17th - Meeting Notes
At this meeting we will
be getting an overview of the new Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. We will also be
reviewing some cool free software applications.
October 20th - Meeting Notes
At this meeting we had an overview of NeoOffice, a freeware office suite,
an iTunes add-on called Sizzling Keys, a look at some cool iTunes features
and
an iPod Classic show & tell.
September 15th - Meeting Notes
At this meeting we will be getting an overview of Screen Mimic
and iShowU.
August 18th - Meeting Notes
At this meeting we will be getting
an overview of the Filemaker application and learning a bit about maintenance
and repair on your Mac.

Life application, took an in-depth look at
Google web applications and reviewed Freeverse gaming.

This meeting we took an in-depth look
at Apple's iPod family and the iTunes application. We also took a look
at a couple of our newest podcasts. One on iPod
web sites and one on
the RAM upgrade we did on my 12" Powerbook.
January 20th - Meeting Notes
This meeting we took a look at RSS
feeds (RSS
Menu 1.9.5), upgrading your computers RAM and DVD Drive and
we reviewed all the
events at Macworld
2007.
December 2nd - Meeting Notes
We will be previewing iRemember Digital Scrapbooking software at the
meeting. What a great time of the year to be getting into scrapbooking.
We will have a copy of this software to give away at the meeting for
one of our door prizes. There will also be a 20% discount available for
TCMUG members to purchase this software.
October 21st - Meeting Notes
We will be reviewing the OS X Tiger application Automator, related web
site resources and third party software from Automated Workflows ( http://www.automatedworkflows.com
) Ultimate Productivity Automator Action Pack. We will be having a drawing
for a free copy of this software package at this meeting as well as for
those in attendance can get a 35% discount if they want to purchase the
software.
September 16th - Meeting Notes
We will be reviewing Mac OS X Services, Smart Folders, the latest industry
news and of course looking at our top three web site resources.
